Olympic Medical strongly recommends the following Maintenance on their Sterile-Drier:
The Olympic Sterile-Drier should be maintained on a regular basis to provide years of trouble-free performance. Cleaning and operating personnel can perform weekly cleaning and periodic maintenance.
Weekly Maintenance
- Cleaning the Drier: To prevent contamination, perform cleanup procedure after each use
Periodic Maintenance
- Changing the Pre-filter: To keep the Drier in optimal operating condition, change the pre-filter every two to three months
Semi-annual and annual maintenance procedures can help ensure that your Sterile-Drier continues to perform optimally. Qualified technicians should perform these maintenance tasks.
Semi-Annual Maintenance
- Lubricating the Blowers: To keep the Drier in optimal operating condition, lubricate the blowers every six months.
Annual Maintenance
- Performing the preventative maintenance overhaul (PMO) each year. The PMO has been designed on the basis of over 20 years of experience throughout the U.S. and Canada. As this maintenance should be performed by qualified technicians, service is executed on-site by a Novatech Medical technician that has been trained and certified by the manufacturer. Each PMO includes a thorough inspection, adjustment, and test of the product as well as replacement of operating components, such as:
- Replacing the blower/blower motor;
- Replacing the heaters (Model 43 Drier has two heaters and Model 44 Drier has four heaters);
- Replacing the thermal cut-out.
Every Three Years
- Replacing the HEPA Filter (Model 43 Drier has one filter and Model 44 Drier has two filters).
